  • Responsibly Sourced Ingredients

Responsible sourcing is a fundamental principle that guides our operations. We prioritize transparency by working directly with farmers and suppliers who share our values of putting people and the planet first. Our key ingredient, the humble cashew, is organically farmed, rain-fed, and meets SMETA standards for Ethical Trade. We source our cashews from a single partner located in the rainforests of Vietnam, ensuring consistency and quality while supporting a local community.

  • palm oil free

Palm oil is found in many of the foods we eat, causing an insatiable demand for it over the past decade. This has fueled rampant deforestation and an increase in carbon emissions, resulting in devastating consequences on local communities, the wild habitats of endangered species, and our planet as a whole. At Miyoko’s, we strive to put forth the highest quality, sustainable, and compassionate products. In doing so, we intentionally avoid the use of palm oil in our recipes. Instead, we turn to other vegetable oils that we can source responsibly with the planet, people, and animals in mind.

  • The Highest Standards

We take pride in our ingredients. We know the quality of our ingredients plays a crucial role in creating delicious, sustainable products. There's a long list of things we never consider for our recipes such as soy, gums, and palm oil, among others. Being certified organic is just the start of our high standards, and we always look to source from farmers who go above and beyond by implementing regenerative practices to promote biodiversity and soil health.
