How do I use Miyoko's Pourable Plant Milk Mozzarella?
The best way to our Pourable Mozzarella is to make pizza with it.

  1. Shake the mozzarella bottle well before pouring.
  2. Pour cheese lightly and evenly over your sauced pizza crust (don't apply too thick). You can carefully spread out with the bottom of a spoon. Be careful not to mix cheese with sauce too much.
  3. Bake in pre-heated oven at 500°F for 3-10 minutes. Time can vary based on your oven. Bake until it bubbles up, browns and looks delicious.

How much should I put on a pizza?
Our Mozzarella performs really well, even in thin layers. We recommend 1/4 cup (2 oz.) of mozzarella for a 10" pizza.

How hot should I cook it?
Our Pourable Mozzarella must be cooked to at least 165°F in order for the cheese to set properly. At lower temperatures, it will remain liquid.

How do I store Miyoko's Pourable Plant Milk Mozzarella?
When not in use, our Pourable Mozzarella should be stored in the refrigerator.

Is it only for pizza?
No necessarily. Our new Pourable Mozzarella is perfect in any dish where delicious, gooey mozzarella makes a good addition. One of our favs is using it for mind-blowing lasagne.


Why is it liquid?
We crafted the finest vegan mozzarella, by focusing on the desired end result: delicious meltiness. Rather than creating a traditional solid block of vegan cheese that is shredded, we stripped out the solids and ingredients that hinder meltability. For example, did you know cheese shreds use anti-caking agents to prevent clumping, which ironically prohibits melting? Go figure. We removed all that stuff and cut straight to the melt with this first-of-its-kind, revolutionary liquid cheese.
